Introduction- Have you ever wondered if the size of a basketball changes your shot accuracy and percentage? That is what I’m going to figure out.
Background Info- There are three types of basketballs I will test, 27.5, 28.5, and 30.0.
Hypothesis- I predict that boys will increase as the size increase, girls will decrease.
Materials-
27.5, 28.5, and men’s basketballs, stat keeper, goal
Procedure-
1. Gather all materials
2. Shoot 3 shoots from the 3 point right baseline, right wing, point, left wing, and left baseline, then 10 from the free throw line with each size ball.
3 Gather all results and make final analysis.
Independent Variable- The ball sizes
Dependant variable- The shooting percentage, (results)
Controlled variable- The Boys and Girls in the experiment
